56th UITP World Congress
June 5-9, 2005 - Rome, Italy

The 56th UITP World Congress will highlight public transport as the connection between people, the environment and business. The Congress therefore will examine how our sector will respond to mega trends in society in a sustainable way. With the theme of ‘Public transport 2020: making the connection’, it will focus on public transport’s role as the connection between the social, environmental and economic pillars that can stimulate growth in the future: personal and social growth, environmental care and business growth. Sustainability and Public Transportation Workshop
